Parish Health Ministry

John 5:6 - Jesus saw him lying there, and knowing
that he had been a long time in that condition, He
asked him, "Do you wish to have health and
strength?"


Christ the Redeemer's Health Ministry consists of health care workers interested in maintaining the health of our parish community.
 
Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressures are checked periodically throughout the year after Masses. Check the parish bulletin or calendar for dates.
  Flu Shot Clinic
  The flu shot clinic is usually scheduled for the beginning of November. Along with providing flu shots there have been additional injections available; pneumonia and adacel (tenanus).
 
Health Fair
Every couple of years our Parish Health Ministry hosts a Health Fair in the spring. The goal is to educate the community about achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Some of the previous vendors included: Hospice Care, Eye Care, Nutrition, Alternative Medicine, Organ Donation, Mental Helath, DAD Education, Home Care, Cancer Treatments, Dental Care, Senior Assisted Living, Estate/Will Services and Hearing Options.

Businesses Included: Curves, Health Quest, OCSD Canine Unit, Physicians and"River of Life" Ecology.

The fair is geared to making informed health choices.
