• You do not have to have your email address on the email list to view the messages. By adding your email address to the email list, however, you can have messages automatically sent to your email inbox
• Replying to a message results in posting a message to the Group and to all members who have added their addresses to the email list

Any parishioner can post a message via Email. The message will be available for Review within a few minutes* of sending and any Parishioners who have Added their Email Addresses to the Group List will automatically receive a copy of the message. When posting, please remember:

• You do not have to appear on the email address to post messages
• Use the "Subject" field to include a brief description which best describes the contents of your message
• When posting a message about another parishioner, please indicate whether or not the family should be contacted directly for additional information. (In a time of crisis, contacting is usually not a good idea).
• You can always post additional messages as more information becomes available
• Attachments will NOT be posted. If you have supporting documents or images, you can add them to the "Files" and "Image" pages (requires a free Yahoo member ID)

* Effective 1/10/05 - In order to eliminate unwanted spam from outside sources, pending messages will now be monitored two or more times each day prior to posting.

Email Addresses can be Added to the Mailing List by entering your email address in the white box at the right and clicking on "Join Now." You will receive an automatic confirmation email with additional instructions. Reply with a BLANK Email (indicated as Option 2) to complete the process. Please note:

• You will need to do this once from each email address to be added to the email list
• You do not need to include any information in the body of the email

Email Addresses can be Deleted from the Mailing List by sending a BLANK Email. You will receive an automatic confirmation email with additional instructions. Reply with a BLANK Email if you really wish to remove the email address. Please note:

• You do not need to include any information in the body of the email

Some parishioners do not have access to Email. We are looking for Members on the Group Email list who would we willing to "adopt" a parish family and notify them, by phone, of messages sent to the Group site. Please provide:

• Your name
• Your phone number

If you know of a family who would like to "be adopted," please let us know and we'll try to match them up with a Member receiving email. Please provide:

• Their name
• Their phone number
