The Sacrament of Eucharist – a Sacrament of Initiation – is the source and summit of the Catholic-Christian life. In the Eucharist, Christ is really present in the Presider, the Gathered Community, the Word Proclaimed and the Bread and Wine Shared. By our sharing in this mystery, we are strengthened and sent out to be the Body of Christ in the world. Eucharist is celebrated at Christ the Redeemer:
- Tuesday 7 pm
- Friday 9 am
- Saturday 5 pm
- Sunday 9 am and 11 am
We believe in this community that every person gathered is called to “full, conscious and active participation.” Preparation for First Eucharist begins early in a child’s life through emphasis on the importance of family meals, family prayer and regular gathering with the parish community for Mass. Formal preparation is encouraged in the 2nd grade.
