Christ the Redeemer is participating in
Habitat for Humanity’s 2025 Rock the Block
Habitat for Humanity Oakland’s Rock the Block program brings together homeowners, volunteers, and community sponsors to create high-energy community revitalization events.
Homeowners pay a modest fee for the work that is performed.
Date: Thursday, August 14, 2025, 8:00 am-3:30 pm Lunch provided (12-1 pm)
Meeting location: Southfield, MI, details to follow
Volunteers must be 18 years old. All volunteers must register, sign an online liability waiver to volunteer, and watch a construction safety video.
Possible volunteer jobs include yard cleanup, trash removal, branch and hedge trimming, lawn mowing, and edging.
We have a limited number of volunteer slots available. To register, contact Karen Swietlik in the parish office or email service@ctredeemer.org.
